What's New

Reduce your water use with new technologies

Innovation is born out of necessity, which can help explain the growing amount of technological advances made in the field of water conservation. Water – Use It Wisely is keeping with the times, launching an updated Technologies section at wateruseitwisely.com/newTech.

With innovative technologies, conserving water can be easier and more fun. No, you can’t access the internet or watch your favorite action flick with these tools, but you can do something more valuable – conserve. Two dozen water-saving devices ranging from alternative turf to irrigation sensors are broken down into six categories, making the new technologies section your go-to resource for all things gadgetry. If you have a gizmo you would like to include in our gallery, email Kim at kim@wateruseitwisely.com.

How To

Be part of a conservation community

The email discussion list Conserve was created for people in the water conservation and re-use industry to discuss and exchange ideas. Its mission is to provide a new resource for gathering information, asking questions and sharing ideas about effectively communicating water-use topics. The Conserve list is already active with Water – Use It Wisely partners around the nation, so new subscribers will gain immediate access to a network of water professionals with similar communication goals. To subscribe, simply visit the Conserve list website and enter your email address.
