The Water – Use It Wisely campaign continues to skyrocket in popularity, and that is no more evident than in Georgia, where the water conservation campaign is being implemented across the Peach State.

"We examined various options available to us to encourage water conservation, and selected Water – Use It Wisely. It's a proven and easy-to-implement program," said Bob Donaghue, The Director of Pollution Prevention Assistance Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
"We are excited to begin this campaign in hopes of reaching our water conservation goals," said Pat Stevens of the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District, one of the Georgia coalition partners teaming up to bring the campaign to the entire state.
Water – Use It Wisely will be marketed throughout the state with a variety of approaches. TV commercials, internet ads, billboards, and transit advertising are currently being employed in the greater metropolitan Atlanta area. In addition to the campaign's Water – Use It Wisely commercials, the local NBC affiliate in Atlanta is producing additional 15- and 30-second spots featuring a station personality delivering water-saving tips from the campaign.
Water – Use It Wisely continues to grow as new markets see the limitless benefits of having a proven, effective water conservation campaign in their area.
The Arizona and Georgia coalition partners jumped at the opportunity to tie the Water – Use It Wisely message in with Olympics news coverage. Check out the Arizona coalition ads on the Ozone site or see all the ads in the campaign tour section of wateruseitwisely.com.
