Water – Use It Wisely Welcomes Stanford University as a New Partner

Social Innovation Review, a journal published by Stanford Graduate School of Business, featured Water – Use It Wisely's "100 Ways in 30 Days to Save Water" promotion with Home Depot in their most recent issue. Within days of the article's publication, Stanford chose to adopt the campaign's ideals by becoming a partner in the campaign and purchasing the Water – Use It Wisely Starter Package.
Campus energy manager Susan Kulakowski has big plans for the materials. She will distribute the brochures as bill inserts to the neighborhoods on campus that the faculty and staff live in, during their Earth Day event, and with future student orientations. She is also teaming with the university's janitorial services to have the static clings placed on all bathroom mirrors on campus.
"I like the campaign because of the quality of the materials and the good value. I had been pricing these types of items individually and when I saw the Water – Use It Wisely Starter Package, I quickly realized the cost savings. These campaign materials are great because the message can be delivered to students, faculty, or staff. It works for everyone. Now that Stanford is a partner, if we have the need to run newspaper ads or use other materials, we have a resource for a consistent message with just a phone call!"
—Susan Kulakowski, Campus Energy Manager
