Each Home Depot store across the state will host weekend workshops to teach consumers everything from installing low-flow showerheads and toilets to irrigation classes and Xeriscape design and installation.

On Thursday, August 14th, Water – Use It Wisely city partners trained more than 120 Home Depot managers in preparation for four weeks of water conservation workshops. A fun and informative Consumer Guide will be distributed through Home Depot stores with twenty-four pages of conservation tips and activities. To further demonstrate the practical ways to save water, campaign partners will host community projects in Chicanos Por la Causa communities. These outreach efforts will include retrofitting low-flow showerheads and toilets, fixing irrigation systems and replacing existing landscape with a complete Xeriscape Design and installation.
