3...2...1...LAUNCH!

That's just what the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments did on Tuesday, May 20th. With help from 33 other Wise Water Use partners and local elementary and middle school students, the WCOG introduced the Water – Use It Wisely community awareness campaign to the D.C. area. The conservation program, which has been so successful throughout the country, introduced the community to one hundred simple but highly effective ways to save water around the home. The rollout was well received by the surrounding communities and local media alike.
