Water Conservation Coalition of Puget Sound Tailors "Water – Use It Wisely" for Spring Launch

The national roll out of "Water – Use It Wisely" continues as more than 30 water utilities in the Pacific Northwest have embraced the campaign, which will launch in the Puget Sound region this Spring.

Kelly O'Rourke, with the City of Everett Public Works Department, and spokesperson for the Water Conservation Coalition of Puget Sound (WCCPS), said,"The Coalition was sold on WUIW because the campaign is comprehensive, turn-key, and fun. We're impressed with the large choice of marketing materials and had a hard time narrowing down our selection to a few for our first year."

Residents from a seven-county area in Western Washington will see and hear the campaign on radio, in newspapers, on buses, in movie theaters, and on the web. Additional materials include the water tips brochures, magnets and other promtional items. Coalition members also can use the "Water – Use It Wisely" logo and information on their internal newsletters, bill inserts and other collateral.

"Water – Use It Wisely tested extremely well in focus groups here. It's the most comprehensive, user-friendly conservation campaign we've seen, and we're proud to become partners in this national effort," O'Rourke said.
