The award-winning Water – Use It Wisely campaign is taking its water conservation message to Phoenix area schools and picking up a few new messages along the way.

Middle school students from several districts are competing to write the best 30-second public service announcement on saving water. The winning script will be shot and edited at the school with help from stations KTVK and KASW.

In a separate competition, local high school students are busy writing, directing, and producing water-saving TV spots of their own. The winning PSAs from both contests will go on the air in January 2003.
