Water Conservation Lands at Airport

Just in time for the holidays, the "Water – Use It Wisely" conservation campaign has landed at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. More than 200,000 people a day will view the colorful water-saving tips as they travel through the terminals. The oversized backlit displays, measuring a whopping 5 by 3-1/2 feet, are placed throughout the international and domestic terminals of Sky Harbor, the nation's fifth busiest airport.

The displays are one of the many tools the campaign uses to bolster a worldwide conservation ethic. With such broad exposure at this busy airport, travelers from the local market as well as millions of tourists each year are reminded of simple ways to save water.
